John was a great teacher - when he was teaching. He's no longer teaching. I'm surprised he's still listed here. He was difficult but that's why he was such a good teacher. He didn't just hand out great marks to everybody (which is unfair)

Absolutely moody and intimidating, but fair and knows his stuff. I found him very helpful in a subversive way - the man makes you think for yourself. As hard-line as he is, I still scored a 10 on a solitary assignment.
