Took Mythology with him, which was like showing up for storytime. It was awesome. He even says it's one of two "fluff" classes at Mary Wash. (Hint: The other one's an art class, but good luck getting in!) MacI rocks.

He is an interesting fellow. I found the class a bit tough, but he is so helpful if you go to him outside of the class to ask questions, esp. on the papers. He sometimes makes it seem like he was actually there in the past...hilarious! His thing about Athenians cracks me up!

myth class was ridiculously easy until the final exam which was the devil. but i did enjoy his lectures which went by very quickly. just really scrutinize your notes before the final, and you'll be ok.

Not that hard, but hard for a myth. class. Dont underestimate how hard this class will be. You must read and take notes all the time. First paper seems easy but is pointless difficult, second paper is fun. Final not too bad. Like story time but hard to keep good notes.

Can be very random especially if you have no background knowledge and the readings did not clarify. Nice professor, really likes his subject-it's all a story to him- but like I said, it's very easy to get lost, especially when he talks about battles.Two really easy papers and a couple tests.

He introduced me to a lot of interesting people he knows, including Zeus and Apollo and Aphrodite. He talks about them as though they are real--and soon they become real! I am forever in his debt, and am so glad I took his class.

Great story teller - but watch out - the final was on one day of slides that he told us not to take notes for - had an 'A' until that low blow. We had questions on pictures of olympic equipment, but not the Punic wars - what was that?
