WORST TEACHER EVER. Makes a 101 class feel like is a 400 level course. his test have no correlation to his notes. Man just talks all class, does not care about students, makes you sign papers for attendance every class, if u miss 3 or more classes your grade drops by one letter

Professor Morgan is literally awful. He lectures based off of powerpoint slides that contain literal paragraphs of information. Study guides are broad and studying the slides is useless since they contain so much unnecessary information. He also takes off a letter grade for every additional absence over the 3 allotted. THE WORST. DO NOT TAKE.

You're sitting here thinking, "Hey, it's a 101 class. This will be an easy A." WRONG. This professor is good for teaching 300/400 level classes. NOT A 101 COURSE. Lectures are useless and boring. He goes into super nitty gritty details that are not gonna be on the test. He knows he sucks so he makes it up by assigning an optional research paper wtf

Answers to homework are littered on google/quizlet. Although class can be boring, some of the material (but not all) is common sense knowledge. Try to revise/study slides before exams though, a few things can be hard to grasp. He allows computers to be out, so I basically used this class as a study hall & got work for other classes done during it.

He gives three tests (noncumulative). You need to come to his lectures and study the slides to Ace it. The only other work for the class is the online assignments which will take at least an hour but most answers can be found on quizlets. The questions are also good to study for the tests. He really cared about geography and wanted you to do well!

Really boring class. I mean REALLY boring. Dr. Morgan knows his stuff but the material can be really hard to grasp. In addition to three tests, he requires these time-consuming MasteringGeography assignments to be done as well. Honestly, a decent guy as a professor but too hard of a class to be a 101. Laptops allowed for note taking.

Professor Morgan is genuinely a really nice guy but his class is way too hard for a 101 level. The workload is equivalent of a 300 level class. 3 test that are difficult & mastering geography online assignments take hours to complete sometimes. If you need help, he is definitely there but the topics are hard to grasp. Just a lot of work overall.

Physical geography isn't riveting stuff. But Morgan pulls in current events to make the class more relevant. Goes over everything on the tests. The homework is easy, the tests can be hard if you don't study, and some lectures can be dry. But the class is an easy B at worst. Note: Because of him, I picked up a minor in Geography. Nerd alert.

Dr. Morgan is very friendly. He tries to make the class as easy as possible since it is for non-majors. 4 assignments, all 1,000 word papers. 2 tests, with listening and free response. Pretty easy, but can be pretty boring. Lots of notes.

Nice guy, but insanely boring. He spent the first two weeks explaining why night and day happens. Tests are pretty hard, so study a lot. Chances are you are going to need that extra credit. The homework helps, but there is so much of it that you'll probably get behind on it. Laptops allowed.

He's ok, seems nice, but he's SO boring. I couldn't pay attention to him to save my life. I barely got a B-, and that's only because I did extra credit. He gave us the option to write a 10-15 page report due at the end of the semester. The paper was potentially worth 10 extra grade points. Let me tell you, that paper is the only reason I passed.

He knows his stuff. The lectures do get very boring, but if you print out the powerpoints before class and take notes on them it really is not that bad. His tests are tough, but if you study the powerpoints you'll get an A or B. Just pay attention and put some effort in and you'll be fine. MasteringGeography assignments are time consuming but easy.

Never ever take this teacher. I picked up this class so I could graduate this semester, that might not be happening. He is by far the hardest class I have this semester and im in 400 level classes. The homework and tests are beyond unrealistic for a 101 class. Do yourself a favor and stay away I

Morgan is a very nice guy and does seem to generally care about his students doing well. Map quizzes and tests are the only grades and he gives study guides. He gave my class word banks for the map quizzes after someone asked, so do that. tests are extremely hard studying hard is a must. Extra credit report took my grade up 10 points. alright class

Class is more difficult than a 100 level class should be. Memorizing whole maps can be very time consuming. He does not give word banks either. The exams are challenging. His lectures don't really help prepare for exams. Expect to study A LOT for this class if you want an A. Offers extra credit but it's only a few points.. pass/fail this if you can
