John is an awesome professor! If you show up to class, take notes and do the readings you will pass with flying colors. He doesn't use a textbook and his tests are super easy. I will definitely take him again if I have the chance! His lectures are not heavy and he knows how to make the class fun.

RTV151 is mostly a lecture class, but Morris's powerpoints are very clearly organized. He takes attendance every class but you can get away with missing a couple. He emails students study guides before every test. Not to mention he's pretty funny and very easy to get along with.

I've taken 7 classes with Professor Morris and consider him a great mentor. He does not play favorites. He holds students accountable and relies on tough love to prepare them for the real world. He knows his stuff, and genuinely cares about the kids in the program.

John is useless. I hope you LOVE radio because if not you won't care about ANY of his classes. Hardly knows the TV side but still gets the luxury of teaching it. Plays favorites and more importantly he plays "least favorites." He really is a jerk when you get to know him. Tedious... tedious... tedious... Keeps you busy so he doesn't have to teach

He is useless! He has favorites, if your a RTV major and not his favorite, well you wont get anywhere in life. Also if your not his favorite, he'll pick on you, grade you harder, basically call you out in class and tell you your dumb. Honestly dont be a rtv major, because he'll come around and screw you....

John Morris is a good guy. His classes are pretty easy especially if RTV is your major and you actually care about the material. In his upper level classes he brings in material about radio and TV in the news which is interesting. He's overall pretty easy and a friendly guy when you see him on campus.

Had Morris for nearly every class he teaches, and while he is pretty easy, class is extremely boring. It is obvious he favors radio over TV which sucks. I just wish he would spice things up and make his "favorites" a little les obvious.

Great teacher... RTV 151 is a very easy class... he knows the material well. Just go to class... every day there is a power point and if you just take notes and listen in class, you will get an easy A. The tests and final are all the info RIGHT OFF of the powerpoint and study guides. Just read the info, guarenteed A. Great guy and willing to help!
