Lectures are abit boring i found it easyier to just read them on blackboard before the quizes. Overall a fun class not an easy A but if u get below a B something is wrong with you. Also dont buy the book i didnt open it once they tell you everything in lab.

Eric is awesome. Probably my favorite teacher at WWU. He's a fun laid back guy. He can be a little monotone at times, but whatever. His grading is fair, with none of his exams having surprises. However, it is extremely difficult to get an A in his class. You'll have to do everything perfect. However, it is also pretty hard not to pass.

McKell knows his stuff. His lectures can be dry at times, but he rarely uses all the class time. Material is fair with no surprises on the quizzes or exams. If you are a sensitive person you might not like him because he will make fun of you if you mess up. Overall, it isn't a bird class but its hard to fail.

McKell is worthless he's a condescending and unskilled at working with carbide which is what industry uses. His class teaches you nothing about tool selection or setup design. I already was able to cnc going into this class and I had hoped to learn more. I didn't. Any higher class is imposibble to get into if you are VRI. Open lab hours are a joke

I agree, he says what really funny... Waiting for him to say "waht" gave me something to look forward to in his lectures to break up the monotone. He's very knowledgable, but definitely could've showed more enthusiasm for the subject. Always willing to answer questions, rarely used all of classtime.

I dont know what the others are talking about, McKell is the man. As long as you go to class and watch the powerpoints you will do fine. Dont buy the book; you wont need it. His quizes are on class material only. He is VERY straight-forward. He practically tells you what is on the test. Yes, you do have to actually learn the material, but its easy.

A lot of people don't like him he's got a thing against the VRI and he won't cut you any slack. Make sure you pay your lab fee on time or he will fail you, but as long as you do what he asks he's a great guy. Very helpful and I swear he dreams in G&M code he reads it like nothing.

Economics, not really his thing. Amazing monotone voice and he says "what" with a funny accent. Listen for it, it sounds like "waht" its wierd.

He's very straight forward, and expects you to learn. I feel well prepared for his quizzes and tests becuase of the way he covers material in his class. He's also a great advisor for the MET major. Very understanding and approachable if you're having trouble. Great office hours and I like the help he chose this year for the lab.
