It's going to be a heard class, it's Calculus. I'm not sure what everyone else was expecting. He teaches to understand, so doing more complicated problems is easier. If you average an A in the class, you don't have to take the final. If you do the Author Examples in the book, you will get an A.

Professor Murray cannot teach. I took extensive notes, did my own notes out of the book, and went to the Learning Center for help and still had to drop the course because of my grade. I asked for help from him and received none. But I was really gone when he swore at a student who was only asking for help!

Easy, whether or not you took Calc in High School. He's brilliant, and he makes it easy for you. Do your homework and the book examples he suggests because THOSE ARE THE TEST QUESTIONS. Get an A in class and you don't have to take a final. Worked out Solutions are in the basement of the library at the Media Center-USE IT.

is a hard class and he sucks as a teacher but gives retestes to kids if the whole class is doing bad.. lots of text book usage. Doesnt givem any exaple problems only goes into the theoretical perspective of the math rather then numerical.

Murray is a true Calculus teacher! He is a brilliant man but learning from his teaching style can be extremely difficult for some. He is definetely alittle bit out there,talks really loud, and writes the notes in cursive.

Getting Murray as a professor was the biggest mistake i ever made. He is a horrible teacher, your better of teaching yourself. He makes no sense and deosn't teach you calc I material. Seriously, Avoid this man at all costs, you'll be much better off.

RUN AWAY WHILE YOU STILL CAN!!! I got an A, and a B (I GOT ROBBED) in calc III and Diff E.Q. But J.M. is the worst professor you will ever have. He does not grade on what you know, but whether he likes your or not. Plus he looks like beeker from the muppets. Take these classes w/other teachers.
