Although the idea of taking an e-Marketing is enticing, I do not recommend taking it with Lorne for a few reasons. 1.) He can be lazy, which can negatively affect the way he lectures 2.) He is not specific about what he wants in an assignment/project

Lorne is one of the best profs I've had. His lectures are great, and he does his best to engage students. He's friendly, knowledgeable, and always happy to provide additional color and clarity if needed. I look forward to taking more classes with him in the future. He isn't an easy maker though, so expect to work for your grade.

Get him on his good side and befriend him. He'll give you a "review" before finals. It'll ask, "what grade you think you should receive?" I wrote down "B" he gave me a B-.

Being in Lorne's class I learned so much on how to present and to overcome my fear of presenting. The most important tip is that whenever he mentions about the presentations, take notes like actually write down what he is saying because it is really helpful for preparing and succeeding in your presentations

Nice guy, great teacher. His lectures can be a little boring since this course is still fairly introductory, and a good chunk of it is common sense, but he really tries to make it interesting. Ten percent is participation, and it will be the easiest ten percent you will ever earn. Gave out the questions to the midterm beforehand. Highly recommended

Lorne is a great business man and he knows the market. There are lots of different attributes to marketing which a student might not think of...and he'll tell you. Smart, sweet, and funny. You'll get the real big picture of marketing in this class. In the business world, you're not always gonna get what you want, you just have to deal with it!

Arrogant, rude and plays favorites with the "hot" chicks in his classes. Takes homework, but never marks it or hands it back. Unfair marking on presentations. Marking is based on how much he likes you. Two people write the same thing, one he likes gets 89% the other he dosnt, gets 70%, exact same answer. He needs to get fired or retire. Pathetic!

Lectures were long and boring, but he tries to add humor. Assignments and homework were easy. Makes you wait forever to get any marks! But if you can sit there, look interested and keep your eyes open, you will probably do pretty well.

Lorne is so arogant & annoying. i didnt learn anything from his classes. He has his favorites thats for sure & the favorites are NOT SMART.YOU CANT AVOID HIM for MArk 235 & mark 440 he is the only teacher.So be prepared to teach yourself . I HATED LORNE & STILL DO THANK GOD I AM FINSIHED!!!!!!!!!!

Lorne sucks at what he teaches, tends to favour lil brown girl that is stupid. He never has our marks up to date or give anything back. Homework takes a lot of time and always unclear on things. The class is boring just read the book and you will be fine for the mid term, final is open book.

He Never gets your marks bak in time!!easy midterm cuz he gives questions..personel selling is an easy class but lorne isnt the best teach for it,he isnt gpa killer but getting an "A" is more possible if u take girrard..even tibbo is alittle better then lorne. He looks like ross from friends HAH!!
