Comment:
I had Otto way back when he first started teaching. He knew almost nothing about his subject matter and gave mounds of tedious homework projects which were the majority of the grade. He disliked people doing the homework during class which was otherwise a complete waste of time. He was the only prof with whom I had a real problem, ever.

SUPER EASY. Nice enough guy. I hear the course is getting revamped for incoming freshmen and beyond, but I imagine it will still be crazy easy. If you pay attention in class (no outside studying) you are almost guaranteed an A.

He is a decent prof. The class is pretty easy. He's not the best at communicating through email, his emails can be pretty rude.

Like others have said, Otto is a good guy but half the time it's the students showing him what to do with the Microsoft stuff in class. Confusing in that he doesn't enforce policies on his syllabus. Homework is easy but tedious. He goes very fast in some lectures and it is easy to get behind. Also the software to take tests on is a nightmare.

Mr. Otto is a great professor and a great person. He not only cares about the subject, but also his students. Comp 102 is easy, but I honestly learned more applicable knowledge in this class than in any others. Take this class.

Good class overall. Pretty easy and he takes you along step by step, sometimes a little too slowly. Take the class if you want a good grade with minimal effort.

Annoying but Easy. Take during a heavy semester for a grade booster. He's kinda creepy in the way he says, "Sweetie" and "Dear" but I wish all classes at Grove City were as easy as this one.

His weak handle on the class combined with his unclear teaching makes this the worst class at GCC. If you miss the days of high school when homework was given as much credit as tests take this class. Its very possible to walk out of this class with a C average on tests and still get an A.

He's figuring out how to do the things as he teaches you. Students show him how to work the microsoft office programs more often than he teaches us. Very easy class, as an intro to computers class should be.

Decent man, but the worst professor at GCC. "I KNOOOOW!" Do the homework, because even if you get As on all the test and get a 60% on the homework, youll get a C in such an easy. Go to class and you'll get an A, don't go and you'gget screwed. Believe me, I know.

This guy tells you the first dday of class that he has had no formal training in this subject. Teaches you stuff you don't need. Easy class but tons of busy work. Take it if you must and don't skip class you will miss him doing the homework for you.

How can you not dislike anything about Otto or this simple (very simple) class? He's a great guy always willing to help, the assignments are simple, and the testing is always curved! Pretty hard not to get an A, and pretty hard not to like Otto!
