Dr. Ayers gives hard tests but getting high grades on the quizzes is easy because they're open note. I've never done any of the reading and still got a B but getting good grades on the two tests was difficult. All in all an easy class though.

Dr. Ayers is a fantastic prof. He is very clear about what he expects of you, both in test content and paper requirements. He is always willing to talk about things, just make an appointment. He is opinionated, but is very clear that it is HIS opinion. Overall a very worthwhile prof. READ THE TEXTBOOK and PAY ATTENTION TO LECTURE.

Dr. Ayers is an excellent professor. He provides clear feedback, his tests are exceedingly fair and his lectures are very interesting and clearly present the material. He cares deeply about the students and he's always available during office hours. He is a hard grader, but fair and if you study and pay attention you'll do well.

My favorite professor thus far. Very interesting, lots of real-world experience as well. Essays on tests are fairly easy if you've done the reading, though the multiple choice can be tricky.

An excellent teacher, brilliant and very interesting. Loves to try to make people uncomfortable, which, if embraced, is quite hilarious. Considerable effort is needed for an A, however getting a B is fairly easy.

This class is interesting until you take it with Ayers. He teaches about what he thinks is right and the book is usually wrong. I know he has a doctorate but not everyone is wrong if they don't agree with you.

Ayers is quite simply one of the best profs at GCC. He is an outstanding scholar an incredible resource. In a way it's a shame that Grove city is a teaching school and not a publishing one, I would rather enjoy it if he did write books.

LOVED this class. material's great, and Ayers brought it to life. I just returned from an overseas trip and everything Ayers taught was manifest in the group I worked with, and helped me to more fully appreciate their history and way of life. Study hard, and you'll be justly rewarded. Ayers makes his expectations clear.

He's really monotonous...not a good class to take at 2:30...Otherwise a good class...he's got a lot of interesting stories and the tests aren't too bad, if you study hard.

Dr. Ayers knows what he's talking about, but sometimes doesn't explain it in the clearest terms. He includes fun stories and is willing to help you...you just have to get past the intimidating factor.
