I wish Dr. Q was my professor for all of my classes. He has all the characteristics that makes a great professor. Hes passionate about the subject and cares about his students. Not only does he make learning math easy, he makes it fun, and thats a rare quality. Go to class, follow the notes, do the HW, and youll be golden.

Dr. Q is a great professor and he is insanely smart and knows his material from head to toe. His classes are challenging but he's always there to help. Also if you do all homework, outside assignments and everything else you can still pass even if you fail most tests.

Dr. Q has to be one of the best professors I have ever taken at UNT. He helped us a lot in understanding the material, cares genuinely for his students and designed this class to create the best math teachers. He is almost always available when you need him. His tests are not difficult but you have to work for the grade that you want!

Dr. Q is a very great professor. He is very clear with explanations and provides opportunities to get extra credit on the tests (grades testsout of like 105, so you automatically have five points given to you). It is very important to attend class because the topics build each lecture. Attend class and do your homework and you can get an A.

Tough Class. 3 Tests and a final. No extra credit. Gives partial credit on tests. It's very difficult if you miss out on a concept, because they build up on one another. Would rather take another class, if optional.

Dr Q is probably the best professor at UNT and definitely the best professor i have ever taken. Took him for Applied Stats and he was very clear in his explanations. Class was hard but Dr. Q made it a lot easier. Definitely take him if you can. I also took him for math 4050, highly recommend him.

Explain things extremely well. Repeats important things to take note of. Explains the similarities and differences between what you did before and the new concept. His tests are fair and the reviews are incredibly helpful for doing well on tests. Very good professor

Dr. Q is a fantastic teacher. He takes time to rephrase a concept if you are not understanding it, he cares about the students, and he makes an otherwise dull class entertaining by cracking a few jokes. If you go to class and study his review, you are set up to ace his exams (WHICH ARE FAIR).

If you call ambiguity and in ability to explain things coherently great, then he is stupendous. Test was completely unfair, you will get Bs and Cs because his tests have questions that don't provide enough information. When you try to understand it he just lies to you (as do most other professors) AVOID AT ALL COSTS IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR GPA!!

Dr Quintanilla is one of the best math professors whom I've ever had. His lectures are clear and informative, and paying attention to them, coupled with doing the homework assignments, will almost certainly guarantee you an A. Great lecturer, keeps students engaged at all times. Extremely organized and well prepared with his notes and we never go off topic. He's also a really funny guy and a fair grader.
