Comment:
John is by far the best prof at UNB. He cares about his students and wants them to succeed. He does not like midterms he considers them to be an unfair test of your knowledge. Labs are interesting, final project on lunar rocks is super cool, and the final exam is a piece of cake usually 4 essay questions out of 10. John rocks (no pun intended)

A very relaxed, very approachable prof. He does a great job at making the boring stuff interesting. Even allowed us to study Lunar samples, which was awesome. He marks very fairly, and only gives marks for what you know. Not much bad to say except that the textbook wasn't helpful - most relevant information is online.

Fantastic professor, anytime you need help with anything, email him(can be a little hard to find sometimes, but just contact his secretary). I do not need this course for anything else in my degree but he made it interesting.

The professor is really efficient at explaining terms in a clear manner using examples that are easy to understand. He also shows how the course fits in with a variety of jobs. Shows interest in the topic, his research and for the students, which shows. Final a bit tricky but, didn't have a midterm for a basis. Is so helpful to students!
