Gives a lot of book based projects but you h-only read parts of the books, the course itself is very fun. not very much lecture, mostly class discussions. he's super funny and tells jokes.. little weird but a great class. strives for his students to get an A

This is the best professor at the whole college! He gives very little homework, no tests, and an easy grader. Vermette is hilarious and well respected, he gets very close to all his students after 2-3 weeks and is an awesome person to talk about personal or school problems

Understands his students. You'll get an A if you put in the work outside of class every couple weeks or so. Doesn't make you read the books front to back, instead assigning chapters which is good for non-readers like myself. Finds humor in things making the class fairly entertaining. Same person inside and outside the classroom which is important.

He really cares about his students and has a passion for what he does. He assigns a lot of projects but they're all really easy and interesting. Only thing that's stressful is that he can be pretty scatter brained and if you're like me and need structure it can be difficult to deal with. Overall, I love him and there's never a dull moment.

Dr. Vermette is really inspiring and loves what he is doing. He is always ready to help students when they need him and he is easily approachable. He loves projects, so it can be a lot of work sometimes, but the work isn't too difficult. Sometimes in his projects, it can be a little hard to understand the directions. Bu overall, awesome class.

Doc V is possibly the funniest, most crazy man I have ever met. He's all sorts of fun and I really enjoyed his class so much I took him again this upcoming semester. He's a little all over the place and confusing when it comes to assignments, but if you email him and ask a question, he answers right away to clarify, Easily my favorite professor

Love Vermette. He is a great teacher and will give you powerful insight into the field of education. One of the most respected edu profs in NY. However, don't take him if you need clear organization and a standard classroom setting. I liked how different and energetic he was, but he is not the most organized which annoys some people.

Very nice and caring man. He is very scattered/disorganized. Easy to get confused on what has to be done. Teaches very good material, goes deeply into diversity in the classroom. Class is almost 3 hours long and you WILL stay the whole time. Available to talk to outside of class/through email. Requires 6 books, all will be used in book projects.
