Dr. Stewart has really put a lot of time and energy into this class and it shows! He brings in lots of interesting guest speakers and provides tons of great opportunties for his students to learn about entrepreneurship. It requires a lot of work, but hey, this is college. Great class! Highly recommended for people interested in entrepreneurship!

A class you have to take -- not a class you have to go to. He doesn't know how to explain things -- he tries, but fails miserably. Read the book & the tests won't be so bad.

If you want to take econ without having to learn anything or go to class this is the one to take. Stewart is incredibly boring, the TAs aren't much help either. He likes to talk about himself a lot and brag about how rich he is. I gathered this information from attending 3 lectures, a final review, and some of my recitations. Study the old tests online the day before, and you will have 85% of the questions and answers memorized by the time you take the test the next day.

I had econ 010 at 2 oclock and it was my first class of the day, nevertheless Stewart had me snoozing after 15 minutes without fail. I stopped going, studied old tests before the exams, and managed a c. My more econ savy friends did the same and got a's and b's

Not a bad prof. Yeah, there is a lot of work, but welcome to college people. You'll do most of your learning from the TAs. I hear he's easier than Schwartz.

His TAs do all the real work, he just gives the convoluted, pompous lectures that always involve a rant on why the University should pay him more.
