Nice enough guy most of the time. Its just that you could skip 95% of classes and still ace the tests (if you get the lab material!!). All he does is show pictures of really useless things and doesn't teach us the important aspects... like HOW TO MAP. His TA's do all the pertinent teaching, listen to them!

Dr. Waldron was an awesome proff. he lives for EAS and loves teaching. very respectful. the tests are fair. passes out the notes in class and they are very detailed - just sit and pay attention. the text someone comes in handy for the labs the labs are fun. highly recommend this prof!

Lecture is so boring. Tests are almost impossible, way too specific for an intro class. Had to take one science class heard this class was a joke, boy was i wrong. Very dissappointing

really sweet little man, was a pleasure to be in his class. he's got lots of "in the field" stories and loves his rocks! watch out for the final - the midterm is quite simple though. read the book and his notes carefully. the labs were a bit sketchy this semester, hopefully they fixed that.
