Stay away from this class. Most college classes you get something out of, this class you get nothing. 1 point off final grade for every absence. thought i had an A wrapped up until i get my grade for my final paper, with a C-/D+ on it. barely made a B in a class I thought i had an A in. AVOID AT ALL COST. he is retired though, so :)!

DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS!!! I had it from 6-9pm and it was the worst experience of my life. Class is so boring and pointless. All he does is show boring movies in class. You have to take 2 online quizzes a week that aren't that bad but you have to do a lot of reading or fast skimming to find the answers. He is a bit hard on grading the final paper.

Worst teacher ever. Never taught anything about history. The only thing we did in class was watch movies, all 90 minutes. Never explained anything. All quizzes are online, which made class easy.

ugh. old, rambling, and boring. you learn NOTHING in class whatsoever. the paper and group project suck big time (really doesn't matter which of 3 books you get). i would get out while you can!!! i struggled all the way through the semester-kept falling asleep in class sitting directly in the front!!! yeah, it's that bad...

I figured that I would be able to tough it out with him this semester and I did but it was terrible! He is very unclear and rude. I am not one to take easy classes and this class wasn't difficult just a waste of time. I feel like I lost hours of my life I will never get back. He is the worst teacher I have ever had! He doesn't care about any of his students, we're just subjects he happens to be teaching. He is extremely rude to people and quizzes us 2 nights before what we are supposed to learn the next class...ridiculous. DO NOT EVER TAKE THIS CLASS TAUGHT BY HIM. I read the reviews, but still took the class because it fit my schedule. WORST professor. Online quizes are assigned for every class. In class, you will listen to classical music, and watch movies on Mozart and French films that do NOT relate to the quizes. The quizzes are on about 50-100 pages in the text book. DONT TAKE HIS CLASS!!!

He is the worst teacher I have EVER had. You do not get ONE free absence in that class. One missed day=one point off your FINAL grade. The worst professor I've ever had. He required trips to different cities, being an RA I can't take 4 days out of my week for that, and there was no make up assignment. He's inconsiderate, rude, and his inane lectures about nothing make the class the worst one I've ever had. DO NOT TAKE HIM!
