Doesn't teach anything. You have to learn everything on your own from the textbook. Hard exams with ambiguous questions. He's a nice guy, but he's also the worst teacher i've ever had. Avoid if possible

Maybe it's because the curriculum just changed, but this course was very hard. He's good at explaining exercises, but the class seems clueless cause he doesn't teach the concepts clearly. Notes are hard to follow. Though not related to John, the textbook is a bore. He's always willing to help after class and before class though. He tries hard.

Other students are obviously grumpy because they didn't work hard enough, since he's one of the best teachers I've ever had. I schedule my classes around his sections and if you want to work hard, the rewards you receive from this course will be great.

do the homework assignments, he'll help you if you go see him. the assignments are free marks and his tests are almost the same. work fast because you'll need all the time he gives you. PS go to class, it helps
