the worst teacher ever for calc! I ended up dropping the class because i had failed every test by drop date. If you ask for an example he will use the formula with NO numbers and somehow that is going to explain it. Must use his method and show every step if not then you get the WHOLE problem wrong even if the answer is right. DONT TAKE HIM!

He is a stickler for notation which can be a pain at first until you learn how he wants things. He doesen't give practice tests but if you practice some old ones from someone who has taken the class it will DEFINITELY help you!

Do NOT take this man if possible. AVOID AT ALL COST. He does NOT teach. Simply restates the theorem from the book and rarely (VERY rarely) does any example problems. He takes point off for the littlest things.

You'll take a lot of notes with Ziegler and he mostly does just restate stuff from the book. His tests are not that hard but he doesn't give any partial credit. Laziness. This hurts... Handwriting is hard to read. Overall hes a nice guy. Only take him if you need that class at that time.

i thought he was hard, b/c he does not do any examples at all, but only redo the theorems from the book, which is a waste of time. On tests, if you don't write one step, he takes off points for that, which is lame. Also he doesn't drop off any tests.

His handwriting is hard to read, especially on the chalk boards after it has been erased. He is giving multiple choice tests with no partial credit this semester. I understand why, but that can really hurt. overall he's still a good teacher.
