Took the class online and it was reasonable. However, she teaches the class more like a WR 121 class. Contradicted herself on my reading responses which was annoying. There are a few small quizes...easy questions are out of the textbook. Got my A but I learned nothing about English Fiction that I didnt before.

Dian is a very helpful and capable teacher,but a tough instructor. She teaches online Technical writing 227. This cl**** is very difficult, but Dian work so hard to make it understandable. Students must study hard to get a good grade in this cl****.

I had a great time in this class. It was a great introduction to dramatic literature. Instructor was helpful, encouraged discussion and was very informative. I would take a class from her again.

I enjoyed Dian's class. I didn't find her to be too harsh of a grader. She is really clear about what she expects from you on an assignment. She even gives examples of an A paper so you have something to reference. Dian is also really quick to respond to questions. I would recommend her web class.

I definately agree that she grades harshly. I was surprised upon turning assignments that I thought were good in and only getting half credit because of one or two small errors. Be prepared to do a lot of reading in her classes and hard work to even pass.

This is where you end up when you have an M.A. in Medieval Literature. Teaches online class like it was a kit from a box. Gives vague/generic feedback. Class participation requirements are absurd. AVOID!

This teacher is helpful. She gets back to u right away if you have questions. I like writing and this is a buisness type writing course. I have learned a lot in this class and I take it online. Its going well. You do have to study and get things done though. Teacher is there for you if you need help.

Very poor organization. You spend as much time figuring out what the assignments are as doing the assignments. Her (lack of) knowledge of WebCT causes many problems as far as having an interface that's consistent with other online courses at PCC.

The Tech writing class is allright, but a bit boring. However Diane Chute seems to have a grading biase. She doesn't follow her own Syllabus. If you want a good grade then brown nose her hard core and pretend as if your life revolves around Tech Writing.

Good teacher. Tries to keep it entertaining, and is sucessful. Knows so much about technical writing. I have found her class to be immensely useful.
