He is a very friendly proff. The only thing that I did not like about Johnny was that you never knew how you were doing in his class until the very end. He never released any marks and when you asked him, he would say "see me at the end of the semester." I found that he subjectively curves the grades based on qualitative information. Beware!

Super approachable and friendly guy. However, content covered in class is tested in a way more complex manner in exams. Exam questions are rather confusing and too long. No practice problems given so hard to judge what type of exam Q's there will be because they are harder than content covered in class.

He is a nice guy, but can be narrow minded. He punishes creative solutions. He will take time to listen to your argument, however, its pretty much impossible to change his mind. Overall class aint too hard though.

He might be one of the worst profs I've ever had. The structure is horrid. His teaching is useless. Shows you an example once which isn't in the textbook or elsewhere and then expects you to do it on the exam. Impossible to study for, also a bad marker. Save your money and avoid this prof.

This class is horrible, the structure makes no sense. Avoid this prof and class. You won't learn anything, spend your money elsewhere. He wants you to think in the box and marks like that. Any creative solutions and thinking is punished. Atrocious.

Cool prof. very humorous and extremely friendly to students. the only downside is that lecture is very boring. pay attention when he does numerical examples as those will show up on exams for sure. textbook is only for case presentation and paper purpose. lecture notes cover most of the questions on exams

Prof was nice but lecture was unbelievably boring (as was content) and doesnt usually end early. Hard to pay attention so take a laptop to pass time. Text was useless. Fair midterm but long, final was a bit harder and he throws weird questions on them.

Cool Prof, however the class was somewhat stupid. Cover cases from textbook for a paper and presentation. But final based almost entirely on lecture notes. There are no examples or text questions to study from. Felt the class was somewhat useless in this aspect, as the calculation questions were based on budgets and other things from intro class

I thought Jermias was fair in all aspects. Pay attention in class and you will do fine. Some of the comments below are simply untrue. For the final, he noted the topics you should pay attention to and not to my surprise the topics appeared on the final. Textbook was kind of useless though, I regretted buying/reading it. His notes are suffice.

Final is ridiculous, even when you study off the notes and examples the final questions make you feel clueless. 80% calculations on final and very hard to study from his very limited 1 example per class. Very nice teacher and gives help when asked!!

Avoid him at all cost. Final exam is brutal because you have no way to study for it. I read the entire book, and memorized all the lecture notes but I wasn't able to answer any of the exam questions fully. My CGPA is way above 3.5

Very helpful, encourages questions. Exam: MC questions are hard; problem questions are same as examples from lectures/assignments. Accent makes lectures a bit hard to hard to understand. But overall good prof.
