Lectures very long & dry though I don't think thats all Radue's fault since comsci isn't the most interesting subject. He tries to crack jokes in class. I found him to be VERY condescending. Whenever I asked help w assignments he wasrude and unhelpful; others felt the same way. Don't take course if you know nothing on computers, you won't learn!!

He is so boring that half of the class shows up to take a nap, watch Netflix or online shop. The rambling lasts for an hour and half about random Internet knowledge and completely reads off his own slides. Only good thing about this class was it got me out of taking physics because it is a .5 science credit.

One of the easiest classes I have ever taken (mainly because I took two Applied Computing courses in high school), but it is not interesting AT ALL. He tries to get you to come to his lectures by having questions on Top Hat you have to answer for your participation marks, but you can just stay home and answer them there.

He's a decent teacher although he is very monotone and I found myself not listening a lot of time. He does reply to emails. If he doesn't you probably didn't follow his protocol. The class will be very difficult for those without a logical mind and who give up easily. I got a 95 in the class, which is probably the highest mark ever. #Legendary

It's not his fault, the course material is just dry. If you're new to programming, it's one of the hardest classes, and if you know programming it's one of the least interesting classes. Very much a catch-22.

Students seem to feel a prof is good if they are constantly amused and things are easy. Jon was supportive, encouraging and knowledgeable. Was a privilege to learn from him. 1p99 and 2p50

Jon is a nice man with a passion for what he teaches. His lectures and seminars, however, are not interesting at all. For my class, he posted the lecture videos online, which was helpful. But the final exam did not relate to anything in the lectures.

Worst professor ever. Teaches nothing. Extremely monotone and does not move. The videos are pointless cause one is not able to stand his tone and voice for 2 minutes. Does not reply to emails, and copies/borrows lecture slides. Very conceited and harsh too. Absolutely horrible professor.

Extremely boring class. If you have no knowledge of programming don't bother taking this 'beginners' course. Lectures are easy but barely covers what you are required to do on assignments. Assignments are marked very harshly. I wished I dropped this class. Take this course if you hate yourself.

Class was sooooo boring. I attended every lecture but I felt like I learned nothing. My success came from the cheat sheet he allowed us which I crammed everything. It is kind of an easy class but you'll either be sleeping or using your laptop!
