easy a. not a tough grader. study for the tests though, they're a bit tricky. not saying they're impossible to pass, but do review the textbook a bit. 4 speeches. 1 is just talking a bit about yourself. another is a group presentation. 1 persuasive and 1 informational speech by yourself of course. take his class! gives positive feedback

One of my favorite teachers by far. We had to give speeches and I had a ton of research to do for them and it was a lot of work. He is also the coach for the schools debate team and because of him I now want to join. He isn't boring at all and keeps things lively. He turned the topic into something interesting and I didn't dread going to class.

Comment:

I took comm103 over summer & it was so easy. Easy A as long as you show up to class. The tests are based on lecture which is pretty easy. You also get a total of 4 speeches: personal narrative speech, group speech, informative & persuasive. As someone who absolutely hates public speaking, this class made me feel comfortable. Super funny guy!!

Great professor all semester students will be debating each other and just do comments about them. the professor is very comical everyone enjoys his class. If need this class I will highly recommend this instructor easy grading.

Use the book, know your counter-arguments, and definitions so you can use your knowledge to beat opposing debaters into powder. He teaches everything you need to know but if your not there to learn it than I suggest you you drop. Create a group document with definitions so that everyone can study. Be the teacher pet, by bringing him diet mtn dew!!!

Funny, sarcastic, but sometimes overwhelming for a 7am class. The class is made up of a take-home midterm, 2 debates, an in-class final, and the rest is extra credit! If you put in effort, and pick a reliable partner (though you can still pass without one), you will do good in this class.

3 exams. difficult if one doesn't study. Take good notes. Everything he lectures about will most likely be on the exams. Pay attention to the jeopardy game. Those are literally the questions he will ask on the exam. 1 simple introductory speech. Two, 8 min speeches (persuasive/informative) that are due towards the end of the semester.

He is a great professor in so many ways. Quite easy course, you don't need to know about communication or debate in order to do well. Just do the speeches with effort and you can get an A. Will crack a joke often so you can ease up and feel a little more comfortable.

He's really funny and straight-forward. He'll give you exactly what'll be on the final in the syllabus, and he'll answer all of those questions if you ask him, on top of that he answers the whole thing in class. I learned a lot and most of all had a lot of fun debating.

Amazing professor! Took him for summer school, kinda wish I had him for the whole semester! Easy A, barely any homework except to prepare for speeches. Loved the way he gave examples throughout his lectures, really helped! Super goofy guy, really recommend you take him.

Jordan is a great professor. He's the best in his craft and it shows by being known as the best community college debate coach. He knows everything about most sports, and you can get into conversations that could last hours. All you have to do is show up and participate. Even the worse debaters get good grades. He doesn't give bad grades if you try

Mr. Mills is awesome! I was reluctant to take this class since it's oral comm, but in the end I was glad I did. He takes time to get to know his students and is very supportive with the speeches required. Everyone has to give 2 speeches, which is daunting at first. Don't skip class because he randomly gives out extra credit opportunities.

Jordan Mills is one of the greatest professors on Campus! He is hilarious and provides tons of extra credit opportunities for his students and will go out of his way to make sure everyone passes. If you fail its because you worked hard to fail, almost impossible to get an F. I highly recommend him!
