Dr. Khandke is an amazing professor if you're willing to put in the work. His classes are definitely not easy, but are well-organized and you will learn a lot from him. He really wants to help you, so Office Hours are a must. His lectures are clear and homeworks help prepare you for tests. Highly recommend if you want to truly want to learn Econ!

Just had Khandke for the FYW Hamilton course. This class was so fun! He integrated Econ, history, and music. Even though I took econ with another professor, he explained concepts so well I would have loved to take intro econ with him. He also took quite a bit of time to make sure our writing improved. Highly recommend.

Just had Dr. Khandke in international trade. Had him before for ECN111. Hes just as awesome if not better in this class. Two words: office hours! He really sits down with you if youre having trouble to make sure you understand the material. He cares about your success and presents thoughtful lectures. Highly recommend him for all levels of Econ

It's almost as if he designs the class so that you cannot succeed. You will only make the grade you want if you're willing to devote all your study time to Economics- as if you don't have other classes. He is very generous with office hours but his assistance is not helpful. Insane amount of homework and only three grades for the semester.

I adore Dr. Khandke. His personality is so sweet, but definitely respected. Very knowledgeable in Econ, probably would be better to take him in upper level econ classes though because he was more difficult and in depth than other teachers. Homework weekly that takes minimum of 11 hours. Tests are hard, study a ton and you can get a decent grade.

Dr. Khandke is the opposite of a general manifestation of the typical Furman professor. He will not try to get to know you outside of class. He offers help but he is so robotic in his interactions. He does not inspire, but instead makes you feel like the subject material is horrible. I am an Econ major but I would switch if forced to take him again

Expect a lot of long homework for not much credit. Office hours are a must. Test are not terrible but he is picky when it comes to graphs. Great guy but definitely tough. Works with you to make sure you learn. Learned a ton from this class but worked hard also.

Don't be intimidated to go to office hours. He helps you a lot, and helps you think for yourself too. He cracks jokes sometimes, that's refreshing. I learned a lot, he's very organized.

I will be graduating in May, and he is probably my least favorite professor I have had at Furman. Weekly homework assignments are much longer than necessary (and consist about half of questions completely unlike those you will be tested on), and he basically views his office hours as a required extension of class time. Super picky about wording.

He was a little intimidating at first, but then you realize he is nice and wants to help his students to succeed. His work actually made me understand econ instead of just busy work. If you need help, he will help you discover what you are doing wrong and what needs to be done. Really helped me learn. Khandke is awesome because he cares.

Dr. Khandke is tough, but if you go see him during office hours he will help so much more. He is clear in class and likes to tell stories. He even brings in a music project to the class to help explore econ concepts

This was the hardest class I had ever had. He spoke way too fast and would not slow down throughout the entire lecture. I would recommend taking this course with another professor.

I had Khanke for macroeconomics. One of the most difficult classes I've ever taken, but also the most I've ever learned in a class. He is very helpful and will reward you for hard work.

first C+ ever. i would recommend taking this class with another professor. weekly problem sets are unnecessarily difficult and long. it's also hard to get a check plus on them. tests are impossible and take way more time than alotted. he's super smart but has a difficult time conveying material to students; just expects you to know it like him.

Not the easiest class, but Dr. Khandke is a really nice professor. Calls people out in class...which is kind of intimidating, but he's a good teacher nonetheless. Homeworks are pretty hard, as are tests, but as long as you study, you'll be okay.

Great teacher...really knows his stuff and is really helpful if you have problems understanding concepts. You have to work hard but at the end of the term are rewarded with how much you have learned. Became an econ major because of his class.
