Prof. Lopez's class was enjoyable. If you dont want a boring class, pick his. He teaches econ so it can be applied in real life. He also explains and makes topics easy to learn. Hes has a great sense of humor and discusses a wide range of current issues which made me think critically. Great class. If you want to learn this is the best class.

Loved him. The most amazing professor in Business! Hes very knowledgeable of what hes teaching. He wants everyone to do well, but you must work. Lectures are very clear and he doesn't try to confuse students. Tests are fair, and he curves. Theres no way to fail if you come to class and do the homework. I wish he taught all my classes .

Prof. Calleja's class is interesting. He cares about his students and is accessible outside class. He gives weekly chapter quizzes, but usually extends the date so you can complete them. The course wasnt the easiest, but he explains so well and gives tangible economic examples that can used in real life. I loved this class. He's the best.

Prof. Lopez is amazing. He is very nice and cares about his students. He uses the book but his lectures are very important in preparing for tests. Lectures are real interesting and they cover lots of current events. Unlike my micro class, which I took with a boring prof, his class is lively and stimulating. I love this class!!

Lopez is an excellent teacher and lectures are interesting. He explains so a history major like me can understand it. The homework is open book and he gives plenty of time to complete it. He has extended the due dates a few times to accommodate the class. Students can bring a note card to each exam. One of the best classes at MDC. Really nice

The professor makes this class super hard the homework you can only do it one time and then you wouldnt be able to see it until the due date has pass. He doesnt give you a study guide so you would have to read like 5 chapter for the test that you dont know what is he going to ask you about nothing that he explains on the class will be on text.

This professor is horrible, worst class that i had taken in MDC he doesnt teach anything on the class he just talks about random economic situation happening around the world the online hm and quizzes you can only do them one time and cnt see then again to check what was wrong until the due dates passes and the tests are 50 question in 65 minutes.

I hate economics itself and this class was beyond dreadful. There's soooo many assignments and and theres over fifty questions on each exam. You have to study hard and and understand the concepts if you want to do good on both the homeworks and the exams. This class was eat up a lot of my time. I barely passed with a C.

One of my favorite professors. Lectures are easy to understand and he made a hard subject fun for me. The exams are challenging but hes a fair grader. This is the best econ class I took at MDC! Go to class, take good notes and read the chapters. I recommend this prof to all my friends. Hes very nice and approachable. Loved the class!

Lopez knows his stuff. I learned alot in this class. His lectures are very interesting and he gives you plenty of information so you can connect the dots. Test can be challenging but if you prepare you'll be ok because he does curve. He really made me think & reflect - I can actually read economics articles from WSJ and NYT and understand them.

I've taken a couple of Prof. Lopez's classes and enjoyed them. Very knowledgeable in economics and explains well. The class slides are well organized and assignments and quizzes are clearly laid out. They key is keeping up with the weekly assignments. Exams can be challenging but he's fair. I enjoyed the class and most of my classmates passed.

He is an amazing economics prof. Does a great job of making the material understandable. Its not an easy class, but he's helpful if you don't understand something. I take most of my courses online due to my work schedule and he's the most responsive and flexible prof I've had for an online course. He made me work for my grade. Great class!

Took his class online. Every Sunday a online homework and quiz is due. There are two proctored test (midterm and final). He takes long to reply to e-mails. But overall he was an average professor.

3 Tests, Lots of time consuming online hw and quizzes. He teaches off powerpoints and does NOT post them anywhere. The tests are extremely difficult but he does curve. The highest grade out of 110 students on Test 2 was an 83. He does NOT give any test reviews. Even reading/understanding the book, I can't manage to get higher than a C on his tests

Based on my experience, definitively gives you lots of homework even in the summer, the grading criteria wasn't clear to me, some of the deadlines were wrong when I took his class online, the answer to my emails were: "refer to the syllabus" as his feedback, the tests were not based on the assignments, tested conceptual mostly and unpredictable....

For some of us that are not really Math enthusiast, statistics is challenging. The professor breaks down the chapters and homework in cheawable and digestible content. A fair grader!
