After 2 semesters, I can say he is an amazing teacher. Although the courses aren't particularly easy, he is always readily available to help you out. Simply talk to him and you will just see how kind and helpful he is, in addition to his wisdom! I can truly say he is probably my favorite professor at SDSU. Courses can be challenging, but worth it !

For a mandatory class this is a ridiculous unorganized course that does not help U advanced to higher-level courses. If U want to see how a teacher is easily burned out, take a class or go to advising. U'll have the experience of someone who does not even know how to advise students but only teacher 2 classes.

Ridiculously hard tests. Way too much information to possibly remember. No record of assignments so you don't know whatwhen to turn stuff in. Grades never posted. Extremely unorganized class. Would not recommend to anyone, especially if you're not a native speaker. Worst class I've ever taken at this school.

Worst professor Ive ever had @ SDSU. Hes all over the place, too much info to learn in 2 wks for exams. Very unorganized and will spontaneously surprise you with hw. Last wk of classes assistant decides to email class to send her all the hws from all semester because she lost them. Hws never listed on syllabus so who knows what we did all semester.

Don't get confused with kind person with a good professor. He is very nice person don't get my wrong, but his teaching methods are inadequate. He never talks about course materials just goes around. Also, don't try to do your best, he will prize people who turn in paperwork late and never let you to input your ideas for a class.

He is outstanding, way above the average at SDSU. He will load you with material and knowledge, but dont panic-homework and tests actually help a lot. He makes every topic interesting and appealing. Take him - u won't regret!

Professor Flores is one of the most inspiring instructors I've had at SDSU. He is extremely knowledgeable and is very enthusiastic about channeling what he knows to his students. Took him during the summer and it was very fast paced, but doable. Definitely recommend if you are a native speaker.

I am a fluent Spanish speaker but history has always been my least favorite subject. I tried so hard, went to see him after hours to review with him and I really felt I earned a better grade but ended up with a D. I was shocked I didn't get a C in his class atleast. I really liked him, he's highly intelligent and disabled.

He is with no doubt one the best professors at sdsu! class can be a bit difficult if you are not a native speaker but he gives lots of extra credit added directly to your test scores. He knows his material like the palm of his hand. If you're a native speaker you will have lots of fun as he uses a lot of slang. JUST THE BEST SPANISH PROFESSOR!

This is one of my favorite teachers. He is very very intelligent and funny. The class is a little bit hard, but as long as you go to class and take notes you'll do fine. There are 5 quizes 4 exams, and one final oral presentation. But he gives lots of extra credit. I learned a lot in his class and I got an A :)

He made me fall in love with Mexican literature. His knowledge is infinite, and he makes the subject fascinating. He is a bit disorganized, but once you get his vibe, you can get used to that. Don't take him though if you're looking for an easy, structured class with minimal and clear assignments.

This class is very challenging if you are not a native speaker. There are a TON of readings, and the tests are pretty hard unless you have read all of the assigned readings and taken notes during lecture. As long as you come to class and do the extra credit you can pass.
