Awesome but a ton of hard work. If you are willing to learn, do a lot of work and take wicked hard tests, Jose is your guy. I took 2 courses with him and received A's in both. Better to take summer/winter term.

Good teacher fairly hard tests just read the book and go to class.my only issue was that he's a Blabbermouth! I think it has to do wit him being Cuban...lol don't expect to ever get out early!

excellent professor. passionate about sociology! midterm and final tests only, they are essay questions. he gives the questions at the beginning of term... so just attend class and enjoy the lectures! he's a great person! i actually took him over summer '08 & am just writing this now.

Dr. Sanchez is an amazing teacher. He doesnt take attendance, but you pretty much have to go because his tests are on his lectures. The essay tests are hard even if you go everyday. Ive had him for a couple classes and he is an excellent, helpful teacher who actually teaches you something useful.

His teaching style is awesome, interesting and exciting. However, the work is just shy of Masters level.You must go to class to pass as the test are in essay form. You cannot BS your way through them either. I recommend using the net to supplement what you learn from him. Oh, and writing style matters as well. Take him!

Good guy. But only gives a mid term & final which are HARD. Doesnt remember that not everyone in the class isnt a Soc major. Seems to only talk to soc majors or people who understand. if you dont get it, dont ever plan on understanding it. he gets aggrivated when he has to repeat himself. dont advoid him but definitly the class if you can.

I like Prof Sanchez as a person. He's genuinely nice, very funny and is willing to help you but although he only gives a midterm and final, they are extremely difficult and he expects you to go way too in depth with your answers. I regret ever taking this class and if you can, save yourself and take something else!

I LOVE Dr. Sanchez!!! He's smart, funny, and very handsome...it was a pleasure to go class. Not an easy A, but he is a very good teacher who will explain all concepts very clearly...all you have to do is study! You'll actually feel like you've learned something!
