Dr. Freeman is such a great teacher! He is always willing to help outside of class and has literally sat in office hours with me for hours even outside his office hours just so I would understand the material! You have to put in a lot of time into the class but that is just because the material is hard! Totally would recommend!

Dr. Freeman's classical was one the best classes I have taken at Geneseo. It was at 8:30 but getting out of bed was easy when I knew I was on my way to his classes.

This is an extremely difficult class and even though Freeman is great, I found it incredibly challenging. However, Freeman is very good at teaching and explaining concepts as well as helping with hwk problems. Quizzes and tests were very hard and you need to put an insane amount of time into this class to get a good grade. His demos were awesome!

A tough course, but frankly, all physics courses are very difficult. He is extremely helpful in explaining concepts both in and out of class.

Freeman is an AMAZING professor for physics. Its a challenging class, but he goes through all of the homework step by step so going to his office hours helps ALOT! Overall he is really clear and knowledgeable. He also loves to talk about baseball. One of the best physics teachers I've had.

The man is a genius. He loves physics almost as much as he loves having students come to office hours. He generally cares about his students and makes a point of learning everyone's name. However, his class is hard and takes a lot of effort.

His teaching style is the same as other teachers who just read off power points. The difference is that there's no powerpoint to look at or download later. Has enthusiasm for the subject, but he's draining mine.

The fact that I really like Freeman despite my immense hatred for physics says a lot for him. He is entertaining and enthusiastic and keeps class alive with demonstrations. But - physics is miserable. Prepare to work.

Dr. Freeman really loves what he teaches. One of my favorite professors this semester. Midterm exams were online. 75% were all or nothing credit-wise and that absolutely destroyed my grade. Homework is online and can be challenging even for Majors like myself. Overall great teacher though.

The class itself is fine, but Webassign killed my interest in Physics. This is coming from a Physics MAJOR who had a great deal of interest before taking the course.

This teacher is really excited about physics. to demonstrate the concepts he always has demonstrations and computer simulations. once you learn his method of solving problems, its very hard to mess up even complicated problems, because his methods are very universal. I'm and physics major and so far he's my favorite teacher I've had here

Dr. Freeman is quite possibly the most amazing teacher I've had yet at Geneseo. He gives amazingly clear notes; I have yet to find something on the capa assignments that I couldn't figure out using the notes I took in class, in Analyt I or IV (taking now). I can't wait to take him for Advanced Mechanics and any other 300-level courses he's teaching

Not a very helpful or clear professor! He might be good for Analyt phys, but he is not good at explaining physics to students who are NOT physics majors! Not helpful at all during office hours since he treats you as if you were stupid. I don't feel I learned anything during his lectures and they put me right to sleep.

He is my hero!!! He is not only a professor or an instructor, but also a real teacher - we do not only learn the instructions, but we also see a role model of how a mature and responsible man should be like. We also learn a lot from his organization style and his dedication to his job. His teaching? Rock!!!

Super smart guy, knows exactly what he's talking about and is willing to help outside of class. The course itself is a little challenging but its more because of the subject matter and less because of Freeman
