He is such a sweet guy. I would go to his office hours for extra help and he'd help produce so many ideas for a paper I had to write. Very smart and I appreciated him always smiling!

I agree with the conservative thing. He tends to cut students off when they go into tangents, and it creates a feeling of him not being open-minded. He is very nice, but can be a little restricting.

Great Teacher. I always felt comfortable discussing with him the problems i was having with the material. The class can be somewhat difficult but he's an extremely helpful teacher, put in the effort and he'll help you get the A you want

He's too old-school/conservative, and sort of timid/afraid of students who like to discuss things at depth/length. However, he is quite understanding, and not bad on the whole, but not as open to discussion to like younger teachers.
