This is a graduate level class. computational chemistry codes are easy to handle. he even helped students to do their projects as long as you asked for help... funny guy/ cool scientist/ easygoing professor. very smart.

Ultimately your worst option. EVER. Incomprehensible. Not much help, so don't ask for any. If you have never learned chem that well before, then he's def not for you and if you have learned chem before then he's def not for you as well. I had to do everything on my own, read, paraphrase, do extra work, teach myself, etc.

He will go on forever talking about irrelevant material and at the beginning of the semester asks you to "point out any mistakes [he] makes in the 'notes'"...if you can even call them that. He'll throw up random problems on the board and spend half the class trying to figure out the answer.

Being very smart does not mean you are a good teacher. He's very smart, but not that great in a classroom. Though he's easy to find outside of class if you really need help

His in-class lectures weren't very useful. However, if you're not clear on certain topics his office hours help a lot. I went from not knowing anything to acing my midterm thanks to a few office visits. He's also a very fair grader. If you get lost in lecture, you won't be alone. Just take advantage of his office availability.

I had Butherus for P chem lab but Bozzelli is the one that grades the papers. His handwriting is not decipherable at all. Sometimes he wants you to redo lab report with unreadable instructions on your paper(no space between words, and mixed capitalized and small letters). He must have been failing English since 1st grade. He is cool in labs though.

He was pretty unclear and his advice wasn't usually that helpful, but if you asked he definitely tried to help. Nice guy, for our class offered a lot of exam alternatives which really helped out.

probably the most ineffective teacher at the university, his advice is as clear as mud, and can be quite rude sometimes, i was able to pull off an A in his lab course, but had to work myself to death for it, def would not recommend!

he is very helpful and easy in the sense that he bends to the will of students. If you don't want a test on this day, he can change it to 3 weeks from now. although his teaching methods don't work, and he isn't clear

He was a bad professor that he didn't really know what he was doing in class... we asked him questions and he didn't know how to answer... but easy homework... he made up the exam papers... they could be easy if you spend 16 hours of studying on it...

i had dr. bozzelli waaaay back in F95. everyone here is saying he is a non-linear teacher... he's a research scientist and it shows. interesting stories. he even sent me information that touched on my research project after the class was over.

an ok person. sorta funny. willing to make things explode for the class. doesn't teach well though, always bouncing around from one topic to next and back. makes it hard to learn from notes, so study the book.

Bozzelli is a great guy, however, his teaching methods are a little unorthodox. He teachers in a very non-linear way, and has some mannerisms you have to get used to. He is by far not the worst teacher I have had, but he isnt the best either.
