A very nice professor! Although attendance isn't mandatory, she will most definitely notice that you don't show up to class, and she values participation. You NEED to have the textbook, as you will write rxn papers every week to the readings. I recommend sitting at the front, she sometimes talks lower.

At first she said no serious with grammar, she looking for an ideas. After that she sent me to revised grammar at writing center. Then she thought I was copied and paste from someone else paper. I told her to go search in internet. At last she thought I was hiring someone else to do my paper. olo Finally I got only B.

Genuine person and can be a talker, especially about the environment. Cannot seem to stay awake in her class no matter what I do. If you can listen to her speak for an 1:30, and use logic on her weekly quizzes, take her.

Nancy Jackson was by the best professor I've taken at NJIT. She's incredibly competent and intelligent to boot. There was no textbook for the class, no midterm, no final. It was not incredibly difficult. There was a good amount of reading, but the assignments really aren't vbery hard. She's a good choice for anyone who actually wants to learn.

Although this class was somewhat interesting, the amount of reading you need to do was too much. It really takes some time to get used to. The weekly quizzes are can be ridiculous. Everyone has to take it, so be glad it's only once.
