Is always there to help the students, set up countless visits at some of the most amazing HVAC companies in the lower mainland. Was always emailing job postings, and got almost everyone hired. He truly cares about your future if you can prove to him, that you aren't scared to work for it. Make him like you and put in the work and you'll be fine.

Joseph is a special teacher, hes somebody that actually cares about your career after you graduate. He was always there to help, and on countless occasions was there late in the evening to help his students. The only trick is to work extremely hard and once he respects you, you can achieve the grades you want.

Joesph is honestly one of the most underrated teachers at BCIT. It may not seem that way given his reviews on here, but if you aren't a stuck up person and want to learn, Joe will do everything to help you succeed. He knows EVERYONE in the building systems industry so he is super helpful when finding a job. Work hard in his class and it'll pay off.

He's antagonistic "I'm not your friend I'm your instructor" Does not have a good rapport w/ students, seems intentional. Explanations of mechanical systems are not clear he needs to describe the fundamentals better. On tests some questions are poorly written. To his credit he answered my questions and emails well and was well prepared.

Comment:

Rude and cockier than a rich 12 year old. It seems like he enjoys failing people in the ABET program, and smiles when he knows that he is irratating you. His tests are designed to make you fail, and believes that "no one can get 100%". When he said "I'll see you next term for plumbing" everyone moaned, then he proceeded to chuckle.

the most unclear teacher i have had. his lecture notes are full of mistakes, he corrects english in your reports when he can't even speak the language.
