I would not recommend taking a class with this prof. He speaks very quietly, and mumbles, so it is even harder to understand him when french is your second language. He expects a lot of the class even if he doesn't go over the material in class. He got way behind in the lectures and therefore did not teach a lot of material. And is boring.

He's a nice guy, and I commend his effort for trying to make classes more interesting, but they're a real bore! He kind of killed my passion a bit for the language, and it's my greatest passion! He's a bit helpful;you have to know every detail for his tests.

BRUTAL is all I can say. I did really well because I was in french immersion and had competent teachers in high school but he is the most boring man alive. He is monotone and slow. The textbook words things horribly and he just reads from it and just repeats himself if you have a question. BRUTAL.

Prof Nnadi is pretty good. He speaks very slowly sometimes, and uses inflections in his voice that can be very entertaining when you got up early that morning and you've been listening to his slow voice for 1/2 hour already. He is an average marker-- because it is a language you MUST study regularly. Have your homework done-he calls out names!

I am surprised at all the bad reviews of Nnadi! He is a fabulous professor. He is funny, and will always explain concepts and prepare you well for tests. As for extra help outside class, he is always available at his office hours and is more than willing to help! He is great!

WORST professor I have ever had. French seems to be about his 6th language, I will give him credit for that... but he needs to master English first. Approx. 20 kids dropped out firstweek. There were about 15 of us left by the exam, and I'm pretty sure most of us failed it.Extremely unclear, mumbles.
