Lectures are engaging/fun. He makes you feel comfortable speaking up/asking questions. Explains things clearly/thoroughly. Made class a welcoming environment for discussion. No tests; many blog posts. Is a super hip rockstar. Homework instructions are unclear sometimes, though. Sad this class is over.

Pater is an awesome guy but he's very unclear on homeworks about what he wants you to do. He's very wordy and the solution is most times easier than you thought. Not the greatest teacher but willing to help you understand. Go to office hours. Very helpful in getting good grades on the homework. No tests, just homework sets due every week.
