He was born in 1917, told us that when Americans go to Europe we think a bede is to wash fresh fruit in, and that Rochester exports all of their flowers to Rome. this is supposed to be an advanced grammar class, yet we are doing the same stuff we have been doing since 350. He goes off on tangents, which wastes a lot of time. we are so behind. He usually doesn't answer questions directly; he explains something completely irrelevant to the question

SpainLit ... HARD CLASS! Make sure you know what you're getting into. This is one class you cannot slack off in! He's kinda weird-funny in an old sort of way. Just take some time to get to know him and you'll be fine. BE PREPARED to study harder than you've ever studied before! You need to be at LEAST partially fluent to understand the literature!

This is the worst teacher I have had, dont take this class. This mans quizzes are horrid, you have to know the whole language to do well on the them. I ask ?'s in class and he doesnt answer them yet rather thinks its funny to say something irrelevant to my ?'s. This man talks about parts of language that I dont even know what they mean in english.

GOOD LORD THIS MAN IS OLD! Hes adorable and sweet, but he really does expect that you know the entire spanish language before you enter his class. If you're not a native speaker, dont expect that he'll pay attention to you in class- only talks to the native speakers. Not very clear, or easy class.

Love him! Wierd sense of humor, but a hear of gold. Makes lots of jokes in class if you catch on, he cares about his students and wants them to have the same passion he has. he does get side tracked, but if you take notes and study his class is easy

He's awesome as a person, but as a professor, he should have retired like 10 years ago. Hes too old and feeble to teach. All the work is out of the book, and the tests are the same set up everytime. If you study out of class a lot it should be easy, but if you slack, you'll be sorry!

He is a funny little Italian Man. If you can handle him going off on tangents and the ancient articles he gives for this class, you can pass. He doesn't ask for much. Just show up to class, take your tests, do your papers, and your presentation(s). He is very sweet and ready to help if you need it.

HORRIBLE!!! Unless you know the entire language BEFORE taking the class. Moves too fast, if you have trouble catching on, makes an idiot out of you in front of the entire class. HE is the reason I will NOT be taking Italian at Brockport. Needs to retire!
