Comment:
I doubt any knowledge he has in his feild. His TAs do almost all the work for his classes and he is unable to answer any questions about his labs because he does not know the software or hardware worked with. He makes students write manuals on how to use the hardware so he can pass it on to the next class instead of teaching himself. Very lazy.

Realized what a waste of time these classes were when I took my masters classes and needed to use the knowledge at work. He is a very nice guy but his class is useless. If you don't have a choice, just study (by study I mean memorize) what he told you to for mid-terms and finals (which is not all that much) and you will get good grades.

Comment:
Dr. Wunderlich is not the greatest professor. He gets off topic easily and talks about his own personal life more than the course material. I didn't really learn much from him, which was disappointing because I was really interested in the class. He tries to do too much with his classes and then ends up not getting anything accomplished.

Comment:
Wunderlich is a refreshingly atypical profesor that focuses more on inspiring abstract creativity than cramming information down your throat. If you make a sincere effort in his class, you will get an A. I really enjoyed the personal freedom we were given with projects, and look forward to the semesters during which I have another class with him.

Even though he also teaches Ph.D. students in Italy, he seems to love teaching undergraduates in the US. And he seems to really want to give extra help to those who need it most.

This is the lowest level course he teaches. It is a "do it youself with supervision" class intended for non-technical students. The last couple comments below seem to reflect this -- with the last one being someone unhappy with their first project grade. Try his other courses for a challenge (see http://users.etown.edu/w/wunderjt). (JTW)

I doubt his understanding in the field. His class is a complete joke. Work in the robot to get good grade in his class. Wants to make the class hard. Eats during the class. Tells stories and browses the web half of the time. He does not teach anything. Very lazy.
