Amazing man and great professor, had him for calc 2 and he made it easier. You still have to put in work, but he does actually teach his material. Pay attention in class and it makes this course much easier and understandable. Im currently trying to get him again for calc 3

Professor Zaleski is one of the best teachers in the math department of Njit. I actually was going to take calc 2 in a community college over the summer but couldn't and was really scared about having to take it in Njit. However, this class was not that bad but It does require a lot of commitment and dedication to pass this class.

One of the best professors at NJIT. Not only does he give great lectures, but he really tries to help everybody pass. He is hilarious and makes every class enjoyable. He does give a mini-quiz almost every lecture, but these are very helpful so there isn't any need to worry about it. If you do your work, you'll pass. He reviews a lot for every exam.

Zaleski is such a respected and caring professor. He genuinely cares that his students succeed. If you do the assigned homework and past exams, you should do well on all the exams (I mean /seriously/ do them). His pop quizzes are homework questions from what you learned in the previous class. Just do what's assigned and you're guaranteed an A/B.

Really amazing teacher and overall very cool and genuine person. Great at explaining tough and foreign concepts. If you have any questions he is very approachable and easy to speak with. Makes a difficult/boring class enjoyable. To succeed, consistently keep up on the course material and homework (don't Wolfram Alpha it) and you should get an A.

He is awesome, I would definitely take him again. If you took calc before this class would be an easy A. He reviews past commons and answeres any of your questions. He os very clear, and shows many examples that prepare you for the commons.

This guy is one of the best math professors at NJIT. He's very crazy during class, and sometimes he goes off topic to talk about some of his life experiences but other than that, he speaks well and makes sure everyone in the class understand that subject he's teaching before he moves forward.

He takes attendance so be there. Daily quizzes are usually one question but theyre based off the material so be prepared. He is a very nice guy and likes to know his students. He cares about his students. Lectures have a lot of theory and could use some more examples but they are easy to follow because they match the book. Very smart man.

On the contrary of the other comments, I don't like this professor at all. I took this class with him because I thought that I will learn a lot but his lectures are really boring and for every single class he gives quizzes. He is not helpful with the materials for the exams! Don't take him for this class

Professor Zaleski is the best Math professor I've had at NJIT. He gives quizzes every class, which are scary at first, but allows you to learn and prepare for exams well ahead of time. He is also a very humble and respectful individual, who really cares to see his students succeed both in his course and in life. Work hard, and you will be rewarded.

Contrary to popular belief, personally I did not find this guy to be an effective professor. I had a hard time paying attention to him because he would be jumpy and try to answer EVERY single question students would ask him, even the dumb questions. If you are looking for a short, simple, precise professor, look elsewhere.

Possibly the best Math professor at NJIT. He's the nicest guy and he really wants his classes to pass by offering extra credit and the like. Plus, if you demonstrate that you're trying but your grades aren't quite there, he will fight to get you a higher final grade.
