Very unorganized and unclear lectures, paper questions, and exam questions. Avoid this class unless you really need it. Rambles on constantly and thinks he is a know-it-all. Hard to write papers because of unclear questions, and still I got an A in the class by agreeing with him. He grades people well who agree with his line of thinking.Hardclass

So nice So smart SOOOOOO sexy!!!! The class was interesting and he was very well read the class was nottoo hard sometimes he went off on tangents but when he does he's still great to look at!!!!

If reading all by yourself without someone to hold your hand or repeat what you read in every lecture scares you you might not want to take this class. But if you want to try being a big kid his class is great. Interesting material. He is flexable about due dates for papers. The tests are easy if you go to class and he is helpful outside of class.

Where do I begin? This man is a disgrace to the teaching profession. As educators it is our job to ensure the success of our students. This man seems to derive pleasure from student failure. His grading is random and very subjective. His lectures are boring and unimaginative. His papers and tests are unfair. He should consider a different career!

If you do the reading you will be fine. If you do some of the reading and can write good essays you will be fine. If you dont do the reading you and can write decent essays you will probably get a C. If you dont do reading and cant write dont take the class. He is a nice guy though who will help you out. I enjoyed the class.

His lectures make no sence. Its like he just wings is each class. His tests are all essays and are not that difficult, i was able to BS them and get a B in the class. But overal he has no organization and just plain out cant teach. he is a nice guy and he knows the material. But he should look into a new profesion because teaching is not for him!

Rosentahl was the worst professor I have ever taken. His lectures come from no where, his test questions have no baking, and to top it off he has no real grading scale, you could write your best paper and get a 70 the next apaper not car and end up getting a 95...if you dont have to take him...dont save yourself the grief and aggrivation

Being an education major i found this class extremely boring and not useful.. but of course required... His lectures are extremely confusing and he has no organization to what he teaches. You can tell though, that he loves Latin America and he is very helpful if you go to him. Tests are essays and the books he assign are long and hard to get into.

Rosenthal is awesome! His classes are interesting and he is helpful if you go to office hours. The class isn't hard as long as you do the reading. If you don't do the reading you will be lost on test cause he asks questions about things only mentioned in readings but if you do read its easy

I loved this professor... the only people that struggle in his class are those who are just plain lazy and can't be bothered to do the reading. He is totally willing to help you out if you need it. And to top it off he's totally hot and nice to look at during class :)

DO NOT TAKE HIM! Worst prof I have ever had here. Class has NO content. Is unclear. He is rude to his students. Essay tests. You will get same grade if you study or if you don't. He doesn't even read them. Stupid paper assignment that has nothing to do with the class and grades it unfairly. Way to hard of a class especially for a 100 level.

He's a nice guy and tries to relate to his students as much as possible. Really likes interaction from students but discourages it by making students feel dumb if they answer incorrectly. Randomly calls on people in class he thinks aren't paying attention. He can be pretty cocky at times too.
