Comment:

She's very nice and caring and wants her students to succeed. She let us use a sheet of notes on all of the tests and gave us a study guide for the tests. Also we had one take home test and one group test. Make sure you take notes in class. Had to do one project but it was easy.

Enjoyed the course and Pro. M! She is caring and willing to work with you if you have any problems. Maybe to homework sheets, just lots of in class work. W watch lots of videos and complete worksheets that she goes over with u. She gives printouts of her slides which are helpful when studying for the exams (4). The exams were not that challenging.

I am finishing my SOC201 course with professor Moore currently. She is a really nice woman and seems to care a lot about her students and the course. She gives lots of opportunities for extra credit. There are 3 tests but one is take home and one is a group test. Show up and fill out the powerpoints she gives which are pretty much what she tests on

Since I took Sociology 201 online, participation obviously mattered. The discussion boards are long, but easy. Tests questions can be found online. Quizzes are usually based off short video clips. Easy class to take online, but be prepared to do a lot of work!

This is the second time I've been in Moore's class. I love her! She is so nice, quick to respond, so easy to ask for help. Lots of quizzes, but keep the book handy! Very easy to understand, loved taking it online as well!

Pro Moore is an awesome teacher, she cares about the success of each of her students and wants everyone to understand the topics covered. Tests are some what more challenging than other classes but overall not bad. TAKE this professor you won't regret it.

She is an amazing teacher! I took her for both Socilogoy and also anthropology, Passed them both with A's. Just pay attention and show up to class, she is very sweet . Quiz and test are group work. Don't really need the text book, I bought the book for both classes at the time regretted it because I wasted money when we didn't even crack it open.

I have Mrs. Moore for both Soc and Anthro and they're my favorite classes so far this semester. Most of what you learn is common sense so it's really hard to do poorly in this class. She's very lenient with students, if you miss a test day she will still let you take the exam. kinda difficult tests but you get a giant cheat sheet. Would recommend.

Professor Moore is by far the best teacher I've had at Schoolcraft. I'm not quite sure where any of the poor reviews come from because she offers a ton of extra credit (almost 30 points) and all of her tests are open book or you get a cheat sheet. You can really tell that she loves what she does!

Lectures are very long you are there from the start until the end and she gets mad if you come in late or leave early. She is very unclear on the assignments she gives you and if you ask for help she doesn't know the answers herself. She also tests you on information she hasn't taught before and expects you to know. I would not recommend her.

She's such a sweet teacher! Her feedback is really informative and helpful. I love how she updates you via email on what you need to do that week for the class. She's always very encouraging in her emails. She seems very passionate about the subject.

Professor Moore was an amazing teacher and extremely helpful! Her tests were kind of tough, but she let you use a full sheet of paper (front and back) as a cheat sheet! She is very nice and well respected! I am taking her again for Sociology! I definitely recommend taking her if you can.

The assignments are easy, but the exams are very hard. She allows cheat sheets in every exam, but that can only get you so far because the answer options and questions are very specific. Offers extra credit opportunities, but they are either expensive or very time consuming. The text book is hardly used, but needed for exam study.

Professor Moore is a nice person, she cares about the class and students. On the other hand her teaching methods are not that good. She gives you the outlines of her class, but some of them don't make sense, you have to look up the material in the book. Her tests are really difficult, they are really tricky. Don't take her if you want a good GPA.
