Comment:

She doesnt give enough time for big projects. mainly less than a week to do research and compose a 5 page essay (3-5 days). she sometimes is not clear of what she wants to see and is repetitive. The essay prompts are not clear and what she includes in them has nothing to do with the text we are supposed to write about.

She is very late in grading major essay's. That makes things hard because you never know if your improving or even going to pass till the very end. I had 3 major assignments that had not been graded at the end of semester. Very frustrating! She also sets specific dates & time for online test( Like Wednesday 7-9). It does not make sense.

She's very helpful and specific on what needs to be done so make sure to read carefully. A mistake I made early in the semester was not having a work cited page for the second assignment and I could've had a B. Although some think she's mean or whatever, she's a wonderful person who loves animals. Also, try to avoid redundancy.(this hurt my grade)

Some people found this professor a hard grader but she was fair. If you go to class, she'll tell you, in depth, what she expects from your paper and if you write it that way, you'll do well. 4 papers and a final, rarely a pop quiz on the reading. I took her class for both 100 and 200 and they prepared me for the WPA and I passed with a 10.

Great professor. Lenient grader. Knows what she is talking about. Clear rubric and willing to help if you ask. Might come off as condescending to some, but I don't see her in that way. I guess it depends on how sensitive of a person u are. She will call you out if you're not paying attention or if you're texting. Don't sneeze or cough near her.

Incredibly sarcastic and condescending. I hated her attitude, but I honestly did learn something in this class. Teaches you how to write professionally and how to address professional audiences. She's not a hard grader as long as you follow the guidelines of the assignment.

Hilarious and sarcastic. Some may think its rude but I love it. Ask for help if u dont understand. She keeps attendance. Wants her students to succeed. She can tell whos putting in effort and who doesnt care. Assignments really help with your career path and has helped me become a better writer. Very clear assignments and rubric. Not a hard grader.

Judith is HILARIOUS. She's tough, and she'll call you out once or twice but if you can take it with a grain of salt and laugh it off you'll see she's really funny. Her assignments are tough but you do benefit from them. ADVICE: have a career field picked out before you start to prepare for the assignments so you don't feel rushed.

I noticed that many people found this professor to be a "hard grader," but I personally thought her grading was somewhat lenient, especially since I've never seen myself as a very good writer. She basically told us what she wanted in every essay and how she wanted it formatted; so you just have to listen and write down what she says.

WOW. I've never earned less than 93% in English classes until now- always been the strongest writer in my English classes, but this was just insane. Got my first C on an essay and first non-A in a writing class. Judith has NO respect for her students and that makes it hard to have any respect for her. She's the most condescending woman I've met.

Ms. A was a tough cookie but if you show up to class and pay attention this class will be a breeze. Her humor is kind of odd and takes some getting used to but overall was a good teacher but does not put up with much so be ready for a tight ship. sidenote: she is a germaphode so if you get campus plauge beware she might kick you out of class

I got a B- on my first essay she's a tough grader. Honestly all you have to do is record what she says to write for the essay and actually put it in your essay and it'll guarantee you at least a B+. After I started recording her lectures I got a B+ on my second essay, then an A-, and finally an A+ but i still ended up with a B+ in her class-.-

This class was one of the best and worst decisions I have ever made. Funny depending on what you consider humorous. More importantly she comes across very rude and unhelpful. She hardly ever attended her own office hours and talked down upon you 75% of the time you asked questions. Learned a lot but really not worth it or worth the stress.

Unlike many teacher she won't give you a good grade even though if you are her favorite student. She really cares about students learning and earning their grade. It's a very hard class but also one of the most rewarding because her class really prepares you for the future. I recommend this class if you are wiling to be very dedicated to her class

There are 4 essays and a few little quizzes. You get to revise the first essay if you don't like the grade you get on it. She cancelled friday classes a lot for "independent study". She has a very dry sense of humor that I really enjoyed but it may not be everyones taste. She's a very hard grader but she clearly lays out her expectations.

Comment:

Judith Annicchiarico is a very rude, sarcastic and condescending lady. One minute she will tell you how she wants something and will change her mind the next. She doesn't remember anything that you did in the previous class and will extend due dates and then ask why no one brought their papers because she is forgetful. I wouldn't take her again.

She is very rude. She uses students in negative ways to try to be funny. She does not censor herself and sometimes will even tell students that their ideas are completely wrong. The essays that we write aren't terrible and she is an average grader, but I had a hard time listening in class when she was being flat-out rude.

She is really funny and as long as you show up ON TIME and show respect, you won't have any problems. Bring a printed dictionary to class if you really want to impress her. 4 essays and a quiz!
