Best Math Teacher EVER! She will definitely challenge you, but she will do anything in her power to make you learn and understand the material. If you don't do well in her class it is either you aren't working hard enough, or you do not have the capability to absorb the material (to be brutally honest). Would recommend her to anyone.

Schwartz is a good teacher. She doesn't have a lot of time out of class to go over things, but she tries. I'd recommend getting a tutor for the class, if you find calc difficult after the first exam.

She seems a bit scary at first but she is the best math teacher I've ever had. She was so helpful and she really teaches well. DO THE HOMEWORK!! I know it's time consuming and annoying, but it's extremely helpful & she only collects it once a week and it's an easy grade b/c you can get up to 25% of it wrong and still get a 100! Shes awesome!

She will work you! But it is for your own good. She is EXTREMELY helpful (would stay after class for up to 1/2hr even after 8:30pm! just to clarify things for me). TAKE HER. BEST TEACHER for any subject I've ever had. I had not taken a math class for 2 years before Calc and I managed to do well. (She is also an adorable little lady).

Well... she seems extremely scary and intimidating at first, but I have to say that she does grow on you. I don't think I would have gotten through Calc II without her... she definitely knows her stuff, and she does start to open up as the semester goes along, but don't think she'll go easy on you at all.

I really loved taking Calc this semester. I could not have asked for a better professor. Mrs. Schwartz is amazing and if I had any questions about anything, she was more than happy to answer them. I did not expect to understand Calc as much as I did. Thank you very much!

Ok I could not even add fractions going into her class..and she made stuff so clear that I made an A on every test. She stays after class to help. She is not only the best math teacher I have ever had but the best teacher period. I wish I could clone her and put her in the other depts to teach (esp bio :0)

Her tests are very hard. She can make you feel very uncomfortable and stupid if you do not catch on to the Calc immediately. She has her favorites- mostly enginerring students and math majors. She's particularly belittling if you do not get the right answers. I would not take Calc2 with her.

Amazing teacher. Knows exactly what she is talking about and makes math so easy to understand. If you like math or if you want to get better at it, I definitely recommend taking her class. She is always willing to explain or help. Never puts students down. She really has a passion for math.
