Comment:

Tough class but learned alot, Bank was very clear with any instructions she provided for future essays and hw. She is serious when she says that she will kick you out if your phone goes off in class so make sure to turn your phone OFF or on vibrate while class is in session and you wont have problems!

When i read her reviews on this site i was nervous about taking her class. But i am currently in her class and she isnt as bad as many have posted. She isnt as difficult as i thought she would be. She is very clear and helpful. She assigns a lot of reading from our textbook. Shes nice and her lectures are interesting. I have learned a lot.

teacher was out on disability for 6 weeks , but still gave the class the same amount of work with 6 weeks less . She was over the top on the work load. We read 3 books , she gave 3 three page papers on the books. Two tests, numerous movies. 8 page term paper and 2 movie critics. I enjoyed learning about the material, but she gave us to much work. A

She is a angry person because of the life she as been dealt due to her poor health. She fails to realize in this new era of teaching there are students returning from battle overseas and have little sympathy for her, and her lack of life skills to deal with her issues. We are home and we have more experience in the real world and how cold it is.

This teacher is very strict but very knowledgeable.Her class is not that hard if you pay attention and do the work. Her essay assignments are very interesting but a little complex.If you are looking for and easy A and not a lot of home work this class is not for you.

She is a horrible teacher. She is unhelpful and rude. When she gives out guidelines for a paper they are very vague and when you ask her what she wants she will not tell you. If you can read minds, then this class is perfect for you. By the end of the course she will want you to think like her and will criticize you unfairly if you do not.

I think that Professor Banks is the best teacher I have ever had. She is tough but fair. She is also extremely knowledgeable and teaches very clearly. But if If you are looking for an easy A with a teacher who wont make you think too hard then professor Banks is not for you.

Judy Bank! Honestly the worst english professor at LMC. Her class should be called Bank 101 because all you do in the class is learn to think like her. Which is a beyond liberal, feminist, and irrational point of view. If you are not a Lover of Hillary Rodham Clinton do not sign up for this class

I think Professor Bank was a good teacher. I appreciated the fact that she was willing to help you or answer your questions. Even if you get something wrong she doesn't make you feel stupid. I think she is a very nice person and I am enjoying her class.

I took her class, and she made me work harder than I thought I would have to, but I managed to do well. She is tough, but fair. Like most teachers, she is willing to help you if she knows you are really trying. Don't expect to slack off and get a good grade.

Bank is a good, intelligent teacher. I took her for English 21 and for English 3. Her 21 class was kinda hard as it required a lot of work. 3 essays, readings from the book, and articles where the hw norm. Her 3 class was easier just as long as you read the text. Her class is kinda of a hard but fair class. Do the work and youll be fine.

Comment:

Curriculum emphasizes left-wing political propaganda rather than actual reading and writing skills. She grades papers very well, but time spent on grammatical instruction is sparse. Unfortunately, this left many of my fellow classmates with lower grades. There must be greater emphasis on grammar if students will walk away with anything useful.
