Classroom participation is a must in her class. I think it helped me to stay involved and interested. She gives the students many options for homework and exams. ie: quiz each week, or homework...take home test, or in class...multiple choice or short answer. She is very knowledgable and makes sure the topics are covered.

Julie really knows her stuff, but she is very unclear. She does not outline her expectations. Your grade will be a total surprise to you at the end of the semester unless you really pin her down. You'll learn a lot, but your grade won't necessarily match up. Ask lots of questions to clarify!
