Julie was great, but unfortunately I took calculus as an accelerated summer course. With that, we had to rush a whole unit, about 25% of the course on differentiation, which is a hard unit. Unfortunately we were tested on this whole unit as if we had the proper amount if time to study it, and that made this course difficult. She was helpful though

Julie is a fantastic prof! Her notes are really easy to refer back to, and she explains the concepts well. My only qualm is that if class is running behind on the schedule, she has a tenancy to rush through the notes.

Julie is the only good Math teacher at Cap and unfortunately she usually only teaches beginner and business calc. Her notes and lectures are incredibly clear and she goes over many examples in class. Weekly quizzes help you keep up and they are very similar to the assigned problems. Final was hard but I think someone else in the department wrote it

She honestly is a great teacher. Her notes are super clear. She gives a quiz every week which helps one remember the material. Buy the Math 108 exam practice booklet because the quiz questions are super similar to those.

Julie is one of the math teacher that i will remember.Her notes are very helpful especially people who have a hard time at math. I personally dont like math at all. But Julie make its so understanding and there are weekly quizes, if you study and go over the qork, you will fine. BEST MATH TEACHER I HAD, WISH I GET HER AGAIN BUT ALL FULL.

Made statistics relatively painless. Recapped material previously covered at the beginning of class. Consisted of 8 quizzes throughout the term, only the best 6 counted toward final grade. Midterm exam was rushed (out of 65) in the 1.5 hour class time. The comprehensive 3 hour final exam (out of 100) was less rushed, but still challenging.

Julie is an awesome teacher. You will learn alot by taking her, her notes are straight forward and she even uploads practice questions on moodle. She really cares about how her students are doing. Throughout her class you will get quizzes each week her quizzes are marked strictly she takes half marks throughout. When Final comes you'll be ready.

Julie is awesome! she is VERY nice and helpful, making sure everyone understands what is happening by going over each thing numerous times. She wants you to do well. Only complaint I have is that the tests often have questions much more difficult than we had done in class, other than that, best math teacher i've had!

BEST Math teacher ive had at Cap. Just study for the weekly quizes and keep up to date, and you set. I got an A- in her 108 class. I took Math 105 with Marsha Anderson and got a C+. Julie Johnson is WAYYYYY better trust me. She goes over everything twice just so everyone understands.

Julie is a great teacher. You really need to apply yourself to her classes in order to do well. If you miss a class (like most classes) you are screwed. She is a fair but a hard marker. Helpful tip: Pay attention to detail or else you will see half marks off your whole test! Other than that i would definitely recommend her :)
