Great prof, she has no filter which makes class realistic and engaging. She is involved in student's lives and is one of those teachers that you can reconnect with long after graduating. Class is easy, and your final is writing a paper on what grade you think you deserve.

Wasn't a huge fan of her. She was really disorganized and lectured the ENTIRE 2 full hours of class, every class period. But her lectures didn't make much sense despite all her talking. Nice lady, liked grading myself, really disliked the class.

It's feminism and it's her life pretty much. YOU GRADE YOURSELF THOUGH. She won't change your final grade unless she thinks it should be higer. It's a great class if you get into it. she's a little spacey though.

She's brilliant. She truly cares about each of her students. I'm lucky enough to have her for my advisor as well, and I wouldn't trade her for anyone. She'll go off on crazy tangents, but those tangents are always eye opening. Julie never disappoints, and is one of my favourite profs.
