I was a German minor until I met Prandi. Avoid this woman like the plague. She's unclear, condecending, rude, and completely over the top. I was able to pull off a B+, but it was from four years of really great instruction in high school. I honestly think that my knowledge of German has decreased after taking her class.

She is probably the worst teacher I have ever encountered. She has no idea what she's talking about and judges your opinions and not quality of writing. If you don't agree with her, you're wrong. She's a horrible teacher and should not be allowed to teach.

intense class, speaks mostly in german so sometimes hard to understand for a 101 class. sometimes seems harsh on those who dont try or are saying something wrong, but does it for your own good. you really have to want to learn german to do well in prandi's class.

One of the worst teachers I've had. I dropped the course. She had our class write a paper on what was romantic about Schumann's Dictherliebe Cycle or the 4 movement of Beethoven's 9 symphony! Hello This is not advanced analysis. She had no clue about music and was making us write a paper that only upper level music students would do.

One of the worst profs I have had at IWU. Doesnt seem to know what she is talking about half the time, and makes the material boring. She is a ridiculously hard grader and grades you on your opinions. She shouldnt even be allowed to teach.

HORRIBLE!!! Don't ever take a class with her. I went to her for help with a paper. She told me it was a great paper. I got a C-. She'll ask you to write your opinions, but then she tells you that your opinions are wrong and gives you a bad grade. There's no way to do really well on her tests. It's horrible. Stay far away!!!

If you're thinking about taking this class...DON't!! Worst class ever. Her tests are ridiculous. You read philisophical writings and she expects you to be able to identify the piece from one sentence that she gives you on the test. She loses things and you need to tell her things fifty times!! EVIL!

This professor is horiffic. I came to this university fluent in German and a German major, and now I am dropping it because of her. She acts very unprofessionally, badmouths students in front of other students and professors, and just can't teach well.
