Awesome prof, really nice guy and cuts you some slack. Tries his best explaining his material, sometimes has issues explaining since his first language isn't English. Apart from that, he really helps you out, gives you a lot of content to go over, a lot which will be on his exams. Usually you can hand in his labs at the end of the semester.

Has to be one of the worst teachers at Seneca. His lectures have nothing to do with the labs... They feel like two completely different courses. His accent is hard to understand, his labs are way too frustrating and long... How do you expect anyone to pass this course when it has a failure rate of over 50% and you have a teacher like this...

Had him for CIS701 and DCN704 (VoIP). In CIS he was great, good lectures, sexy accent. However, in DCN he didn't seem to understand all of what he was teaching made it frustrating..

Julio cannot teach at all. He doesn't know what hes talking about. He tells you to "google" if you don't know something. He doesn't answer questions instead questions back and tells you, you should've paid more attention to your previous years?! I havent studied security last year .. what do you mean? He is absurd .. AVOID! Holds grudges

Julio by far most is the best prof in computer studies. Study hard for his tests in 286 and 386 and you're well off to writing the cisco exam. My hats off to you Amigo

He's a really nice guy, and really knows his stuff. He also enjoys teaching, but has a VERY HEAVY spanish accent, and its very difficult to understand him. You're probably better off talking to him one on one for help, and do most of your learning throught the text book. His tests however, are pretty easy, so tat makes up for the accent.

Julio was a very nice teacher and very helpful. I found his lectures long but they were very helpful, yes he has an accent but I was able to understand him and follow his teachings. If you have any questions or confussion about anything in regards to the DCN course, ask him, he will help you. He is hard to find sometimes, so email him.He's funny

Very nice guy and helpful. I do agree that his lectures could be a bit more slowed down and made easier to understand. Too much writing and no enough real world examples. A bit hard to follow. I would take him again but he needs to modify his methods just a bit.

Avoid at all costs - poor teacher. Lectures are boring and hard to follow, teaches very little and is very difficult to understand. Only plus is that he will do his best to help you out if you have a question and he is a really nice guy - but thats not what I'm paying money for.
