He may not have much in structure but he has an interest in the movies. Tends to like tragedies but taste is subjective. Essays were easy if you put in the work and thought. He actually took a lot of extra time with me to help me with questions and editing projects. For the most part, I had fun. But he is retiring so I wish him well.

AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! This man is the epitome of instructors who do not care about their students, only their paycheck. No structure at all in his class, no curriculum to follow so it's hard to determine what grade you can expect, impossible to get a hold of (email or phone), rude and very boring. Take Olson instead.

He always comes in the classroom at least 10-minute late and is not prepared. He goes back to his office to take a DVD or assignment sheet he forgets. And he says that you have to come in the class on time and do all assignments by due date, or you'll be dead; that's the entertainment business. Then, why is he alive, you know?

He used class time to promote a political cause and showed a propaganda film for that cause without caring whether it would upset any of his students who may hold different beliefs. Insensitive,unrelated to the class topic and inappropriate.
