Lakshmanan is a Great Guy and he will help you no matter what , be it in his office or lab he is always there to help ypo and make sure you learn it. there's no any better CS Professor in brockport. Especially if you are new to programming, make sure to take it or you will regret in high level class. Thanks a lot Lakshmanan .

I don't know why people have an issue with him, he is a really smart guy who wants to see you succeed and do things correctly. If you stay after class he will help you with whatever you need help with and practically tell you what he wants. Being a tough grader is the best way to actually learn the content and not be babied along.

Kad is a nice guy, he really is. But his lectures just put people to sleep. I rarely attended 419 and 411 with him and got a B+ in both. Do the HW, and literally memorize the powerpoints before the exams and you'll be fine. Emphasis on that last point b/c the exams are brutal, especially 411. Just got to know those powerpoints front to back

Great professor! In IT TOOLS you will use the textbook every class and need to be a self-learner, but Kad is always willing to help. He personally goes over with each student their tests and explains where they messed up or lost points, very helpful!

Good professor, however pretty boring. He explains stuff well and makes sure you understand before moving on. Only an assignment every couple of weeks, a couple quizzes and 4 tests. Don't bother buying the book, just go to class and your notes will be all you need. Overall not a bad class.

A really good teacher. His accent is not that bad at all and never affected my ability to understand him. The class gets really hard (and very boring) but he makes sure to explain it well so that everyone understands, and you can tell he enjoys what he teaches. If you go to his office hours, he will help you a lot with the hmwk.

He is an AMAZING teacher! I love him. He's so cute. Definitely take him. He will basically give you the answers if you make the effort to come visit him in office hours. Great guy! He only gave us 1 assignment for every 2 or 3 weeks. I encourage anyone to take his class!

He's a good guy. I had him for UNIX tools and I knew nothing before I took it...now I know a lot. Class is usually lecture for first hour, lab for second hour. The labs aren't due till the next class. Recommended.
