Extremely good professor. Lectures are precise and easy to follow if you pay attention. You can complete the course solely off of his notes, however, if you miss a single lecture make sure you open that textbook. Great sense of humor, and he tells you exactly what he expects from you.

Kay is an awesome prof. Real laid back and fairly funny at times. The content he is teaching however, is a real pain in the ass. Do the home work and pay attention in lectures and everything will be good. I was fairly confident with the content of the lectures I showed up to. DON"T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKES I DID AND SKIP LECTURES AND TUTORIALS!!!

Everyone told me MACM 101 was one of the hardest courses they've taken, but I actually found it quite bearable taking it with Kay. He's friendly and approachable and a great professor. He gives you a cheat sheet for both the final and midterm and both exams are fair if you do the assignments yourself and attend lectures. Take MACM 101 with Kay!

If you attend lectures, take notes, and do his assignments, then you will easily get at least a B in the course. He's extremely clear, and his exams are directly from assignments. Excellent professor; I wish I could have him for MACM 201! If you get the chance to take this with Kay, DO IT! (Plus you get a cheat sheet. (: )

He's a pretty nice guy who offered us chocolates (I think they were Purdy's chocolates?!) while we wrote our midterms and finals! I didn't bother reading the textbook because he gets a large percentage of his notes from the text book. Nevertheless, the course was okay.
