Very rude and a dry lecturer. Boring lecture and she does not know what she is talking about. almost lile a lunatic. Her scenes are repetitive and she is not technology savy. worst prof I've ever had.

Film and Television should have been a fun and interesting class but it has been the worst one I have taken at UNBC thus far. She is unorganized, rude to students, interrupts at inappropriate times and used the same 5 clips the entire semester. I feel like I have learnt nothing, from her or the useless textbooks she assigned. Run very far away!!

Booorrring.....she is scatterbrained and can sometimes be rude to students when they are speaking - she is definitely and easy marker, but if you are going to take a class with her prepare yourself for the utter DULLNESS. Also, she will pick on people to talk!

I have heard that Karin's classes are very bad. I had an online course with her so there was no room for her to waste my time in class doing nothing. I found her to grade my work generously. I wouldn't say she was helpful as in 'tell me what to do' but she was motivating and was interesed in my success in the class. I would take a class w/her

Karen is a wonderful person and people are way too hard on her because she might be a little unorganized or unconventional. But she will teach you a lot if you have the iniative to seek her help. She knows her stuff and it shows in class. And hey, Who says english classes are ever fun?

Karen is a nice lady but, as has been said, a frustrating lecturer. She is scattered, one minute engaging the course texts the next discussing how her husband took her to a rock concert she hated. The lectures got so frustrating that I stopped going in October. In spite of this I still got a B+.
