She read off the PowerPoint slides and her exams were quite tricky. Also, from how she talked it seemed like she really didn't like 1st year students much which was reflected in her attitude during the class.

Olga is alright. Her exams are fairly doable, she grades easy and the research paper is also marked generously. That being said, she doesn't know the meaning of the word "punctual," never reads or answers emails, and is never in her office. You've got to be an independent learner to succeed in one of her courses

reads directly off the power point slides, mumbles and is quite hard to hear unless you are sitting near the front. It would be better to skip the class and just study the slides on your own, but she sometimes gives out bonus marks for attendence. But the end of the semester you will have a huge pile of her slides.

Extremely intelligent but teaching skills probably aren't the best. She puts up her slides and just reads straight off of them. Is pretty boring. And 1010 is a lot more difficult than high school bio.

Olga read of the slide most of the classes and just added a few words here and there. The classes weren't really more helpfull then if you were to just read the slides yourself but the bonus marks for attending class were nice. The text pretty much taught me the course.

Olga gives a lot of bonus marks for regular attendance, so slackers shouldn't be whining. Also very helpful if you go talk to her at office hours and after class. The course is hard, but reading the textbook and going to her for explanations can def boost you up a grade. Bio's not a walk in the park, so guys, get your crap together. It's all fair.

She is the worst professor, she doesn't explain anything, she reads off the slides. Going to class is a waste of your time. Study on your own, you will end up doing better.

She does have an accent as she is from eastern Europe (Ukraine?). You HAVE to go to class. She reads from the slides but does offer some explanations when she reads from them. I think she would be excellent for third or fourth year students. She just expects too much from you on the first two midterms (avgs of 55 and 53).

Horrible. Reads straight from slides. Can barely understand what she says. Test are even harder then trying to understand her. When 45 people get blow a 40 your doing something wrong.

Olga expects a lot on exams, but if you study lots and know your stuff,it's a piece of cake.Likes if you draw figures to support your answers, and will basically try to find ways to give you marks, even if you just BS.Marks easy on the paper, and there is a presentation as well. Lots of people say she's hard, just have to know your stuff to do well

She's either sadistic or somewhere in lala land. But, if your into value any course with her is like 2 courses for the price of one. Guarantee: Take any course with her and you'll end up with a 2' binder FULL of her ppt slides(double sided). Ridiculous amounts of memorization!!!!!!!!

She moves WAY too fast through all the material. Is hard to follow and demands a lot more then should be needed of undergraduate students. Great for Bio majors... for everyone else, take another elective!!!

A lot of information to cover and she goes through it too quickly. Exams are long for time period, and difficult to get full marks for anything.

Olga is a million times better than her husband Igor!!! Her class was easy as long as you go to her lecture and print out her notes. Memorize the powerpoints for the tests, and you'll get a A.
